I was recently introduced to Fancy Walls when they approached me wanting to know if I'd like to partner with them to makeover a room in my home. I was particularly interested in working with them because of the wide variety of designs they offer and the option to customize the colors of many of their wallpapers. I'd been wanting to try wallpapering a room in my home and my bedroom had been in serious need of something for quite awhile, so it was a perfect opportunity.
The ordering process was really easy, as was the customization aspect. I chose their beautiful Cherry Blossoms peel-and-stick wallpaper and simply emailed my contact at Fancy Walls the hex code of the color I wanted to use. They sent a sample first to ensure I liked the way it looked and that was that! I received my custom order within the next few weeks after confirming we were good to go. I've tried peel-and-stick wallpaper from another company once before and it was an infuriating experience, so I was curious to see how it would compare.
Honestly, it was still a bit difficult when it came to the windows and doorways, which in my bedroom are all right next to corners; however, it was MUCH easier than my last experience for the simple fact that the quality of the Fancy Walls wallpaper itself was much better. It made a huge difference in that I didn't have trouble with it sticking to itself even once, which is what tends to happen with cheap, thin peel-and-stick wallpapers.
Once I got going it was smooth sailing in between the difficult spots. The overall ease of installation combined with the beautiful outcome made the minor frustrations absolutely worth it and I would totally do it again!
I absolutely love the way the custom color turned out. It has such a sweet 1940s feel to it. The warm color combined with the beautiful cherry blossoms creates such an inviting atmosphere in my bedroom. There's been many iterations since we bought this house and it's never felt quite right until now. I think I can honestly say this is my favorite version yet and I can't imagine ever changing it.
